Earring Tutorial with Rivoli, Samos and Amos par Puca Beads - Treasure of the sea.
Theses amazing earrings with peyote Rivoli setting and SuperDuo glass beads will sparkle and look gorgeous. The pendant with Amos par Puca and Samos par Puca beads creates illusion of the rain. With step by step tutorial by Raineri Deborah you can easily repeat the earring. Get inspired!
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
1. 2 rivoli 14 mm - click here
2. Rocaille Preciosa 10/0 in two colors (defined a and b) - click here
3. Rocaille Toho / Miyuki 15/0 in two colors (defined a and b) - click here

6. 3 mm beads (Fire Polished or Rounds) - click here

1. Set the rivoli with the peyote technique starting with 28 x 10/0 seed beads alternating the turns with the two colors of rocaille. At the end you will have 1 round with color A, 1 with color B, 1 with color A and the last one with color B.
2. Place the rivoli "face" down and perform the last peyote round with the 15/0 making sure to position the rivoli well and to pull the thread.
3. At the end of the round go over the beads just inserted a couple of times in order to fix the work well. Now go out of one of the 10/0 second turn of the setting.
4. Insert 1 x 3 mm bead on the needle and enter the next seed bead, take 3 rocs. 10/0 and fit into the next seed bead repeat these 2 sequences until the end of the round.Exit the thread out of the 3 mm pearl.
5. Take 1 x 15/0 seed bead and 1 x SuperDuo on the needle and insert into the central rocaille of the next picot, now take a SuperDuo and 15/0 roc on the needle and go into the next 3mm bead. Repeat for the whole round.
At the end bring yourself to exit from the top hole of the next superduo.
6. Between the two nearest SuperDuo insert 1 x 3 mm bead. Take 1 x 10/0 roc on the needle, 1 x Samos (inserting into the lower hole) and 1 x 10/0 roc. Go into the upper hole of the next superduo. Take 1 bead of 3mm between the SuperDuos. Now take on the needle a sequence of 3 x 10/0 seed beads alternating with 2 x 15/0 seed beadsand go into the next SuperDuo’s upper hole. Repeat one more time. Than repeat twice sequence 10/0-Samos-10/0. Finish the circle with 10-15-10-15-10 seed beads sequence repeated twice. Exit from the first 3mm bead.
7. Take 3 x 10/0 roc and insert into the upper hole of the Samos. Take 3 x 15/0 (color A), 1 x 15/0 (color B) and 3 x 15/0 (color A). Insert the needle into the same Samos’s hole from the opposite side. This will form a bow over the Samos. Go with the thread a couple of times inside the bow to make it stable because it will be our hook for the finding. Take 3 x 10/0 rocs and fit into the 3mm bead.
8. Go to the top hole of the next SuperDuo and load 1 x roc 10/0 (color A), 1 x 10/0 (color B) and 1 x 10/0 (A) and insert into the 3 mm bead below (near the Rivoli).
9. Now take 1 x 10/0 (A) and go it into the central seed bead (color B) of the 3 just inserted. Load 1 x 10/0 (A) and insert it into the top hole of the next SuperDuo (an X will have formed to fill the space). Exit the 3mm pearl and take 5 x rocs. 15/0, re-enter the pearl from the opposite side to make a bow round the 3mm bead. Exit the SuperDuo. Repeat "x" connection and 3mm bead bow. Take 3 x roc. 10/0 and insert into the upper hole of the Samos. Take another 3 x 10/0 and insert into the 3mm pearl. Repeat the lateral sequences just performed in a mirror.
10. When the circle is finished, continue going. Bring yourself out of the 3rd 10/0 before the Samos at the bottom.
11. Take 7 x roc. 15/0 and fit into the first seed bead after the Samos. Then take 2 x rocs. 15/0, 1 x 3mm bead and 2 x 15/0. Go into the 3rd seed bead before the next Samos. Take 7 x 15/0 and make the bow on the next Samos going into the 10/0 seed beads after the Samos.
12. Go through the 3mm bead, pass the bow over the bead, and again pass the 3 roc. before the Sasmos. And take yourself out of the fourth roc. 15/0 of the arch above the next Samos.
13. Take 5 x roc. 10/0, 1 x Samos and 5 x roc. 10/0. Go into the fourth roc. 15/0 of the arch above the next Samos. Go back to the Samos and go up the 3 rocs. 15/0. Get out of the third roc. 10/0 just inserted.
14. Take 2 x 15/0 and insert into the 3 mm pearl. Take another 2 x 15/0 and insert yourself in the fourth roc. 10/0 towards the Samos.
15. Take 3 x roc. 15/0 (B) and insert the needle into the lower hole of the last Samos. Repeat the sequence on the other side of the Samos and go over a couple of times with the thread to fix well.
16. Go out of the third roc. 15/0 on the side of the Samos. Take 1 x Amos through the tip hole, cross the Samos, take another Amos through the tip hole and go over the rocailles 15/0, then in the Samos and in the 15/0.
17. Take 3 x rocs. 15/0, insert into the lower hole of the Amos. Take 1 x roc. 15/0, 1 x Amos through the tip hole, and 1 x roc. 15/0. Go into the lower hole of the next Amos. Take 3 x rocs. 15/0 and insert into the lower hole of the Samos. Pass a couple of times with the thread between the beads just inserted to fix everything.
18. Make some safety knots and cut the thread. Insert a ring in the small arch above the central Samos at the top and attach earring findings. Close the ring. The work is done.
